Durable build + adjustable tension!
I own two of these C7B partial capos and keep one in each guitar case of my two primary guitars. If I lost one, I would replace it in short order. These allow for quick access to very useful alternate tunings. The quality is first rate! I tried a couple different capo brands before I found Shubb. Since that time, I have replaced all my capos with Shubb brand. This should give you a pretty good idea of what I think of their products!

Not truly DADGAD, but still great!
I regularly use this capo and the alternate tuning provides quite a bit of inspiration. I highly recommend it. However, I think the description of DADGAD that is presently included in the title is slightly misleading. With true DADGAD tuning, the open strings are tuned to these pitches. With the partial capo, you can tune the strings to match these pitches, but as soon as you work your way up the neck everything is different because 3 of the strings start out fretted and the intervals will not be the same for those strings as with the open tuning. If you try to play a song with DADGAD tuning with this capo, it will not work out the same as the open string tuning. This capo actually provides a another alternate tuning that is equally as useful, but is DIFFERENT! It is a worthwhile tool to have in your guitar case and to experiment with. Enjoy!

Simply the best!
1 of 1 found this helpful Best tuner I have ever owned and the one by which I measure all others! This is a precision tuning device that I user for checking the intonation on my instruments. The display is clear and easy to read, the chassis is rugged, and the unit is packed with features and presets (alternate tunings). If this were lost or stolen I would definitely replace it! Absolutely worth the price!
