Avoid if possible
One of the logic boards does not work properly. It does not detect the battery.
We have tried the following:
1) Reinstall the Mac.
2) Tried different batteries, Third party batteries and Apple batteries.
3) We have tried with different magsafe contacts.
4) We have tried with different cables.
5) We have resetted the SMC and the PRAM.
No answer from company. Money paid for the defect board 788 US dollar.
I am a Apple Certified Support Professional and work with Mac computers, hardware and software, on a daily basis.
