HP Envy 5530 arrived and performs as expected
2 of 2 found this helpful The HP Envy 5530 arrived reliably in secure packaging. The printer replaces an identical one that stopped feeding paper and couldn't be repaired. This printer fits all my needs (I don't need a fax machine!), and is perfect for the space I have allotted. I have a minor issue with print quality from the color cartridge, with some detectable streaking, which a head cleaning exercise didn't fix, but I'm hoping that is an issue isolated to the cartridge itself, which would be rectified with an eventual new cartridge. If not, I've got a problem with the printer itself. I would not use it, as is, for quality photo printing. The scanning function works perfectly, and the software is easy to use. Wireless communication with my computer and laptop is reliable. Considering printers are basically given away to secure your ink orders from the manufacturer, I am happy with the quality and reliability of this printer.
