Pixel 2 XL makes me very happy

It took me a while to come to terms with buying the Pixel 2 XL just a short time after its released. I've always been buy last years model and save money. My nexus 6P was 12 months released when i bought it. The Sony I had before that the same. So it took me some thinking to decide to go out and get this new model phone. I'm so pleased i did. It seems like Android has come of age on the Pixel 2. I also had Oreo on the Nexus, but wow, what a significant difference the on the Pixel. The whole way the feed has been constructed is wonderful, a joy to look at. Integration with Google Assistant is very fine. I love that I can squeeze the phone to open Google Assistant. In some places it just seems way more discreet to squeeze the phone, then say "show my shopping list" or whatever. Camera is remarkable. Depending on what review you read its best or 2nd best phone camera available, and i fully believe that. So far most of the photos I've taken have been landscape, some low light around sunset, and they are gorgeous. Using the camera more ways is something I am looking forward to. Battery is great. I have Bluetooth running always, and at some stage most days I would play music to my bluetooth headphones. I use navigation and maps some way each day, and browse lots. I only ever charge battery to 80%, and get around 5 hours SOT. Very happy with that. USB-C means it takes next to no time to charge back up to 80% So yes. I spent $500-600 more than I typically would have spent on phone (i have 128gb model) Am I happy i spent it. Absolutely!

Very happy with this

I've owned a few stubble trimmers over that past few years. Build quality of this, along with the myriad attachments make it a quality versatile item It did take me a few uses before I found the optimal way to use it, but now I have worked that out I'm vary happy. Shaver isn't really effective. I think if you want proper clean shaven by a shaver. But the timmer without attachment gets very close, then you can use the attachments to trim your beard/stubble to varying lengths Battery life seems good. I've used it about 5 times without need to charge yet, and apparently you can take it in the shower This is a feature I wouldn't use. If it had vacuum built in to avoid cleaning up I'd give this 5 stars.
