Charges if not powered on
The charger works, but only if the Surface is powered off. Otherwise, you get the “plugged in, not charging” message. It does not keep the Surface from dying during this time either. If you have the time to let it charge, it fulfills it’s purpose.

I know this product is only effective for some people. I’ve found that after 3 weeks of daily use it has started to take effect, though it’s subtle. I set my expectations knowing that it may very well have no effect, but am glad to see that it is beginning to boost fat production in the areas that I am applying it to. I mix it with my triple lipid moisturizer before application.
