Great NAS for home use, just watch drive selection for noise
Good: This NAS was extremely easy to setup and the features of DSM 6.1 are awesome! I get great speed on file transfers and it doesn't use much power at all. Bad: The fan on the NAS is quiet, but watch your drive selection. Chassis is made of cheap thin plastic and resonates easily, so it doesn't block much sound. I installed 2x 2TB HGST 7K4000 drives and they are LOUD. I ended up taking the DS216j apart and lining the inside of the plastic chassis with 80 mil Dynamat material, followed by a layer of Silverstone SF01 acoustic foam and it helped massively, but the drive noise is still noticeable.

Great router for NAS
Excellent CPU for NAS duty. Easily does over 100MB/s write and read via USB 3.0 or eSATA. Routing is very good, though WIFI range isn't as good as my Asus RT-N66.

VERY bright, good for money
This is a decent green laser pointer for the money. It's very lightweight, so battery isn't very large. Probably not very good heat dissipation for long term use either. I would not recommend this for pets, it's MUCH too bright for that. Recommend for outdoors or large spaces only. In a small room indoors, it will light up the whole room.
