Not easy to use.
With no documentation, I was unable to get the device to play. The hook up was easy and the remote did open and close the drive. I could not get an image on the screen

Big disappointment
Nowhere in the book is there any mention of camera RAW. I purchased the book with one objective in mind--process camera RAW. I do all of my photography using camera RAW and expected some help from he book. To say I was disappointed is a huge understatement

Friedman does it again
When it comes to writing about Sony's cameras, there is no one that does it better than Friedman. I have owned.two Sony cameras prior to my purchase of a Sony a7R IV.. For each I was able to find manuals written by Friedman. As a retired technical writer, I know a well written manual when I see one. The Friedman manual for the Sony a7R IV can be considered the Bible for that camera. It is that good. Each menu item and associated settings are discussed in easy-to-understand detail. For each setting, a recommended option is given.
