Tracks Fitness and Works With MyFitnessPal

I wanted a fitness tracking device that would work with MyFitnessPal that I also use. The apps work seamlessly. I'm now able to track my exercises and calories burned and have them go into MFP immediately. My foods are still tracked in MFP and that information "automagically" appears in the FitBit app. I'm still learning lots about how to track different exercises and what the sleep stats mean but the Charge 2 HR seems to do exactly what I need.

Works to Replace a 12 YO 3rd Party Cable

I suddenly had a problem with 3rd party cable and connectors - after 12 years - that I couldn't explain. Got the Davis product and it worked. I didn't spend the time to figure which of the component(s) didn't work but my anemometer is up and running now.

Overkill for My Wife

The Fitbit was purchased as a gift for my wife had had to have a "Fitbit". No off brands. She uses the heart rate monitor (sometimes) and watches steps (which she doesn't trust). The product is good. It has plenty of features just perfect for the actively exercising person and it looks lie it will sync with other fitness programs.. It's overkill for her.
