Great Pull Up Frame with Plenty of Height and Solid Build Quality
1 of 1 found this helpful This Pull Up Frame is great. It's well built and functional, and if you're serious about doing pull ups or ring work, this does the job far better than any other home-gym pull up frame I've seen or tried.
Although the instructions say 2 people are needed to put it together, I managed quite easily on my own. It's simply nuts and bolts. When it arrives the package feels very heavy, but once it's built, the 'step in' frame makes it pretty easy to move into position.
The reason I chose this particular product is because of it's adjustable height capability. The range of heights you can adjust the bar to is very impressive, and goes far beyond what I need in height. I'm 6ft 1.
I've been frustrated using most other products, because their set height usually means having to bend your knees to hang under the bar. Being able to use a bar with your legs hanging straight is such a bonus.
On a flat surface, the frame and bar are both stable, with very little movement. The pins used to lock the bar at different heights are strong and solid, so there's no risk of the frame collapsing or the bar slipping.
Provided you use the frame on a flat, non slip surface, you'll be able to do all variations of pulling exercises; dead hang pull ups, skin the cat, mixed grip pull ups, leg raises, and strapping on a pair of rings; dips, rows etc. Keep it simple or add lots of variation - the bar can take it.
For me, this frame is too big to keep in my house so I keep mine in the garden, and in a year it's stood up to all weathers without being covered.
The product comes with 2 'dip' bars that you can attach to the bottom of the frame, designed for incline push ups or floor dips. I didn't bother bolting these on, because I had no need for them and it doesn’t affect the frame stability either way.
The only negative things I would mention (if they bother you) are that there is no option for doing neutral grip pull ups or hanging tricep dips. For both of these exercises / positions I attach gymnastic rings
If you're looking for a sturdy pull up frame with a very good range of height abilities, that will hold up to regular use, I would definitely recommend this product. Some people have said it's expensive, but if you're serious about your training, and regularly want to do pull ups of all kinds, it seems like good value for money to me.
Highly recommended for all fitness enthusiasts and wanna-be gymnasts.

Perfect replacement for the original
After my original power cord became frayed and stopped working, I looked to Apple for a replacement. Amazed at the high price, I went looking for a cheaper option and found this. It works perfectly, charges my macbook pro quickly, and is every bit as good as those Apple are charging £70 for! A recommended product from a reliable seller.
