Works Decently with Series 1 Speaker
When we moved our Sonos Series 1 speaker to a new location, it was no longer feasible for us to plug it directly into our Internet router. I looked around at the various options and settled on the Boost, since it boasts being able to connect to both Series 1 & Series 2 units. While the setup was simple and it properly connects to our Series 1 speaker, I find that every now and then it cuts out entirely (possibly buffering…?), mostly near the end of songs, so you’ll be just ready to hit the high note along with the music and then it’s suddenly silent for 10 seconds or so. Other than that – and I imagine that the “simple” solution is to get a Series 2 speaker – the Boost works great!
