Best LEE Triming System
I had used the hand trimming tools, works good - lasts a long time, but highly tedious when trimming more than 100 cases.
I then upgraded the case holder to a LEE Zip Trim, liked it so much that I bought a second one when I wore it out after about 1,200 cases. If the internal return-spring doesn't break, the plastic hub will. The Zip Trim worked very well with the LEE 3-Jaw Chuck, once you got the feel for using it, but if you need to trim over 500 cases, it is very time consuming.
Loving the LEE reloading products, I went for the Quick Trim system - best trimming system in the LEE catalog by far. I picked ip the Value not the Deluxe, trims consistently within 0.001". I have dies for .30-06, .223 Rem, 45 ACP & 9mm Luger. I've heard trimming pistol cartriges is unnecessary, but I beg to difer. If you intend on crimping your pistol reloads or expecting any kind of consistency, you want your cases to be the same length, with minimal variations in length.
I recommend lightly coating the cutter diameter, not the cutting face itself, with WD-40, to get a smmoth crank and improve feel of the trim being complete. You should wipe off the WD-40 after about 50-100 cases, depending on the case, then re-applying the light coat of WD-40. Instructions don't ask you to do this, but It helps me get a better feel. A typical rifle case, assuming you are removing about 0.015, will take about 5 turns of the crank.
I had no interest in a lathe-style case trimmer because of having to install the case onto the case holder, where the Quick Trim is just slid onto the case holder as if sizing the case, simply a quick and essy process.
Hope this helps you!

Low Cost, Low Expectations
1 out of 4 has had a cell go dead after only charging it 3 times. Each pack has two cells, to give you ~2.66 VDC. If they don't go bad, they do their job and hold a charge well enough. The lack of charger contacts on the back of the pack is annoying, you need to charge via USB connections, rendering your charger useless. If your battery pack goes below 9.0 MegaOhms and produces less than 2.0 VDC after a good charge, you have a bad cell or cells, so Recycle it.

Awesome
These cutters get the job done.
Easy to handle, works good, lasts a long time!
I only bought another pair because my wife used them to pull nails out of the wall. She confused them for pliers, she says...
