Good connector.
Used it with win 10 and win 8.1 with no driver problems. Works with either one or two of the leads connected if like me on laptop you are short of usb ports. Handy having little blue LED so that I can tell if data is sending.

semi synth or synthetic ?
Car out of warranty this year and I am free to do my own simple servicing like oil and filter change and other filters and plugs.. Noticed that 10w40 semi synth is listed in the car maker schedule in the sort of temperatures we get in UK. On draining the fully synth in the sump I noticed how dirty it was and burned it smelled. I have very low mileage per annum and maybe they skipped changing the oil because it is hailed as long life ? Anyway I reckon I will drop this oil in six months and see what it looks and smells like. Already the car is quieter on idle and seems smoother on acceleleration. For a three year old car with only 16000 miles on the clock this would be what I expect. So far 1000 miles on this oil and no oil used. I am happy with it and will keep checking before deciding to use it for 6 months in the summer and change to synthetic in the winter for six months and so on.

LG DR275 DVD Recorde
This was my second LG recorder and like the first this one fulfilled the necessary tasks. It is simple and intuitive to operate with no fuss and a clear menu system. It offers choices of quality for each recording which allows flexible use of the disk capacity. It is also quiet in operation and gives stutter free playback at all recording qualities. The wide range of media covered by its firmware saves the hassle of sorting through which disk to use. The input and input ports provide coverage of a variety of connection possibilities.
I am glad to have chosen it, it suits me well in its simplicity of operation but it also covers the more complex issues of compatibility so that I have freedom in my choices. It has been trouble free and a pleasure to use.
