Compelling gameplay loop

I always have to have a copy of this game for my DS/3DS. I've bought it about 3 times due to reselling regrets and having a copy stolen. I bought the PS3 version as well but didn't like that as much. The DS version uses an old-school Civilisation layout, similar to the first two games on PC/Amiga etc. and is great for short games that last a few hours, with no fancy 3D graphics slowing down the action - this game can be played entirely using the D-pad and face buttons. As soon as I finish one I immediately want to dive in and start another, the map randomisation means you never have the same game twice. Utterly compelling.
