Great DSLR introduction
Great for a first DSLR or for anyone getting back into digital photography after a hiatus. It can do well as a fully automatic "fancy point and shoot". However for anyone with experience shooting manually or semi-manually, you can really get a lot out of this camera. Reliable Tv and Av modes, surprisingly good autofocus, user friendly and easy to navigate in fully manual mode. You cant use the lcd screen as a viewfinder while shooting and you theres no touch screen but if you can live without those conveniences its a good, affordable camera.

Simple, handy, affordable... as it should be
Does what you want it to do. Accurate as far as I can tell! I use it for a fretless electric bass and like to play with it on the whole time, helps you keep track of your accuracy .
