Not for the unskilled golfer
This is a review for the Adams Speedline Super XTD Fairway 14.5* Wood. I bought it after reading several reviews and the reputation of Adams fairway clubs. I am a 7 handicapper senior who plays, at least, 3 times a week and visit the practice range regularly. I have to say that I am mostly dissapointed with my experience with this club. First the feel is very awkward, I presume due to the materials used and the club weight. I can only compare it to the feel one gets when hammering a nail into wood or concrete. It is not easy to hit off the fairway and hitting a good solid shot is the exception rather than the rule. However,on the positive side, when you do hit a solid shot the ball goes far, at least, a 15-20 yds. longer than my previous r11. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this club except to the highly skilled golfer.
