Good paddle, will it stand the test of time?
I was suprised how lightweight this mixer paddle is. I have been using the original one that came with my mixer 25+ years ago. After all these years my original paddle's surface covering has cracked. I was always a little disappointed that I had to stop the mixer and scrape down the sides of the bowl but with the new paddle I do not. My biggest concern is longevity. Will this paddle handle constant washing and drying in the dishwasher as it is plastic and quite lightweight. I frankly do not purchase things that cannot go through the dishwasher so I hope this will hold up at least 1/2 as long as the original.
