great gift for 8 yr old
my grandson (8) totally LOVED this ....

perfect gift
my 5 yr old grandson put it back in the box and slept with it, woke up hugging it and telling his mom how he LOVES this caboose and how he LOVES Gigi for giving it to him.

just ok
it works fine, just awkward to use. I have the original model and it is much more user friendly.
I will just keep it and use the rollers on the old unit.
