Benchmade 551S30V 3.45 inch Griptilian Axis Knife

Great knife. Worth upgrading over the standard grip.

G10 and CPM-20CV give this knife a nice, weightier premium feel over the standard grips. Not a light knife, nor is it light, but still manages to carry well. A hefty premium over the standard griptilians, but feels like a totally different knife. recommended.

Still viable in 2020

Still a great option around the $200 mark in 2020. Watch out for failing fiber optics in the fan shroud which cause the RGB to all but disappear. Fans may also need eventual replacement. Performance and build quality are still very high. This 3 fan model is very quiet and hovers around 62c for me.
