Look again at the Bible!
The author is a famous pianist, who considered becoming a priest. He was encouraged to pursue his music, to reach and move a wider audience. This book seems extremely personal, yet his suggestions are based on centuries’ old traditions and scholarship. His prayer styles are multiple; when you don’t feel right with one mode, he offers others. The Bible is such a valuable book for many purposes: oratory, parable, drama, history, consolation. Hough suggests using it as a basis for praying.
