24-70mm is my favorite zoom lens
2 of 2 found this helpful This is my favorite zoom lens for 135 “full format” stills photography. The wide/normal to portrait focal range is extremely handy. This range, plus this lens’ 2.8 formula stop, takes care of 90% of situations I am hired to capture. This lens basically lives on one of my two cameras.

Outstanding PL-EF Adapter
This is an outstanding PL lens to EOS EF camera adapter. Not all PL-mount lenses will work as some were designed specifically for the deep flanges of Super 35 film cameras. You have to do your research, but this is not a fault of this adapter.
With PL-mount lenses that do work with modern DSLR flange distances, this adapter is superb. It is well built with quality materials, is a tight fit on the body, and secures the lens snugly – as one would expect – and without play. I received mine from ciecio7 quickly in May 2016. Since June 2016 I have used it to adapt my SLR Magic APO Hyperprime Cine PL-mount lenses to several EF-mount cameras including my BMCC, EOS 6D and 5D Mark III, without fuss.
I highly recommend this PL-EF adapter, but do your research first, and don't take it out on this product when your lens isn't compatible. I am astounded this adapter even exists.
