Ann-Margret makes her mark

This is an honest autobiography of Ann-Margret, written with the help of a ghost writer; however, a reader can see clearly that she has had a lot of control over the content and is determined that the reader knows what kind of person she is. An interesting episode is where she is reluctant to part company with an agent who invested her money unwisely and left her heavily in debt. Several Hollywood stars have discovered that they were penniless on retiring from similar bad handling by agents. She had to pay off this agent when a lawsuit would probably have settled the matter in her favour. I write from personal experience, having being very badly treated by an agent. (The definition of an agent is a tail that wags a dog!) She recovered from this and prospered under the guidance of her husband , Roger Smith, who fell ill with a degenerative disease and was loyally cared for by her until his death. A nice lady.
