Remote supplied did not operate this player. Got another remote and the player works.
The player works fine. The remote supplied with the player did not work this player. I bought a remote separate and it works the player fine.
Otherwise, I am happy - so far. Have only tried one VHS tape. Now that it is working, will try others.

Have not been able to get it to work - period
when set up as instructed:
-does not reliably respond to pushing "menu". Lights up the slot where the slide is, but not the screen. Fiddling with Menu usually get the screen lit.
-When apparently working, move slide and select "capture", get "chip error" message
-put chip in computer, and it shows file empty..
When connected by UBS to computer:
- computer does not recognize unit
- When screen lit, select "capture" does nothing. Select USB option - still nothing.
Have tried calling the customer service number in the instruction, and the phone does not answer.

Correct replacement of original carburetor
The carburetor was the direct replacement and solved the starting problem. Required no adjustment.
