THE go to headstock rider.
These replace and backup the Snark tuner that served flawlessly at my guitar tech shop, home, and rehearsals for about 10 years The ball joint on the back of the head of the original finally weakened, lost solid vibration conductivity, and broke. The fact that it survived all those years of being adjusted and manipulated on the headstocks of dozens of stringed instruments showed it was a quality engineered device. The new models share the accuracy, bright display, and versatile functions of my first one (which still works, less the arm and clamp !), and claim to have improved the ball joint.

Home defense standby carry.
The attachment swivels were secure and easy to put on and off. The sling itself has a good combination of flexibility and textured feel that nicely "floats" the weapon either barrel up or down when I need hands free.

Preparation for life in the future?
It includes a well-protected valve and holster. I will carry it for self defense, but in the hope that I can live my life in such a way that I never need it.
