Foreign Film Master
1 of 1 found this helpful I have been thrilled by Kurosawa's storytelling, adaptations and intensity. "Ran" is no exception. This is a Criterion Film. Criterion collection films are not cheap. But, the film is worth the money and I highly recommend it.

Keep calm & just listen to Dave and the Soulsavers.
Incredible, soulful album. Emotions overflow through the music and lyrics. And, it doesn't get better than Dave Gahan's voice.

Foreign Film Master Strike Again
Kurosawa has become one of my favorite foreign film makers. Another adaptation of a Shakespeare play ("ran" is also a Shakespeare adaptation). Even set in a different time period and radically different location & culture, it has all of the impact of the original and more. Definitely a favorite.
