Perfect for big and small jobs

Love my full frame camera!
20 of 20 found this helpful I call myself a "Hobbyist" Photographer. I shoot a lot of pet portraits, dogs for rescue groups, landscapes and weddings. I finally took the plunge and upgrades to my first full frame camera. Having come from a Canon 7D II, I am very used to the menus and settings so there was a very small learning curve.
If you are getting a camera to have the camera do all of the work, I would say look at a simpler camera - this one is not for you. If you have moved beyond and want to take control - this camera is awesome and does very well in low light. One small disadvantage for the average photographer is there is no on-board flash. I have a collection of canon flashes and can easily overcome this but you will need a flash or some lighting if you get this camera.
When I took my first shots, I could immediately tell there was a major difference, even from my Canon 7D II. Solid, quick (very important when you are shooting rescue dogs who rarely sit still) and felt wonderful. First time I have been excited about a camera product in a long time. Wish I could upload a pic to show, but trust me, if you have moved beyond the realm of photo's for fun and are ready to get serious, this is the perfect instrument!
