I received it in about 2 weeks instead of the usual 5 to7 weeks.

Overall this is a good adapter
Overall this SATA, PATA hard drive adapter did work as expected.
I found one deficiency: the PATA to SATA power converter cable fell apart when I tried to insert it into the PATA female socket on the power supply. the pins were pushed out of their white plastic container.
The fix was to put back the pins and fill up the male part of PATA to SATA adaptor cable with a non conductive two component resin as show in the photos attached. The filler is the black substance visible inside the white plastic PATA male connector in all pictures.
The third photo shows the PATA to SATA power convertor cable inserted correctly into the power adapter after fixing the cable. Now the pins are not pushed out and they make a good connection.
The fourth photo shows the black resin filling up the male PATA connector pin container plastic.

Good product for the price
The microphone has some self generated noise, but it is usable.
For the price is a reasonably good product.
