Lansky LM009 Lightweight Aluminum Universal Sharpening System Mount

Great if this is the one you need.

One of the mounts is a must if you use the Lansky sharpening system. They keep the clamp in good control and make it so much easier. I purchased this mount and attached it to a 12"X`12" board that I set in my lap and sharpen our knives while watching TV in the evenings. The mount is well made and quite sturdy. You can remove the pedestal for storage which may be handy for some people, but it's not a feature I use. This is why I gave it 4 stars. For my usage the plastic mount would have worked just as well and is a bit less expensive This is not a short coming of the mount in any way, just not something I personally find useful.

Might be good if you can get it to pair.

Well I have read some good things about these but I have not been able to get it to pair with anything. I have tried to do it with 5 different things and it will not pair with any of them. And since you have to pair it with something to even get it set up so for now it's totally useless. Some people don't seem to have any problems with it, but I have had no luck at all.

They work well and may be right for you.

This is a great way to connect two or more peddles together. They offset them a little which I like and because they are a solid item help to hold them in position. I keep my peddles on top of my amp and it works well for me. If you use your peddles on the floor and they are the mini style like I use they do put them pretty close together and I could see where that may cause a bit of an issue. Overall I like them, but everyone has to weigh their own needs and decide if they will work for them. If you feel they might work for you I would recommend you give them a try.
