Great heat protection for kids (size 5 and 6)
I should have found the smallest size 5 for my 7 year old son. The six is a bit big. We bought more for the heat resistance and that is excellent, picking up hot metal cups with no problem. Have not tested sharp knives but that is just added bonus.

We enjoy it, could use a few tweeks to make it better.
We like the advent 3d box, the only complaint is that the boxes could have been made longer )there is space), and maybe a better design for the boxes to slide out better. We found them quite floppy and a tad too small. Otherwise we are quite happy, it is pretty when it lights up, our son enjoys looking inside the boxes and it is attractive on the table. It is very light, it has not tipped over, but maybe a bit more weight in the base would make it feel more substantial and be a little safer around candles, meaning not tipping over.
