scanning negatives
This scanner is not easy to use if you intend to scan large format negatives, but with a little effort the technique can be acquired. As a straight scanner there is nothing to complain about, scanning 35mm negatives is easy but outside of that format it is possible but you have to find your own way of doing it and do not expect Canon to be any help

For Windows OS
I bought this hard drive for my lap top and had no difficulty loading Windows 8.1 on it. The computer is now working very well.
