A great book filled with information on the Barnes Foundation with fine visuals of the collection;handsomely bound
Masterworks: The Barnes Foundation is a terrific book. Many years ago. while studying painting at the Boston Museum School I met and studied with Francesco Carbone. a prominent painter who had taught design at the Barnes Foundation during the late 1940s. The book has rekindled many memories of Frank's lectures on the Barnes Foundation, particularly through Dr. Barnes. Frank's meeting with Henri Matisse one summer.
