No power in these batteries.
4 of 4 found this helpful These batteries, for whatever reason, show 1.6V upon receipt (which is a healthy voltage and typical of a reasonably fresh 1.5V-rated penlight/AA/AAA battery)) but have no substantive Amperage (energy) in them to drive even the most basic gadgets, such as my digital camera. It literally will not even power up! So unless you want to use them in very low draw devices (like LED lights, for example), I'd suggest going with a different brand.

Good quality, pleasing RGB effect, but TALL. Check your Mobo and CPU cooler for a proper fit.
One caveat: the modules are taller than some CPU coolers will allow; depends somewhat on the type and design of MoBo, but forget using a large CPU heatsink/cooler such as the Cooler Master GTS V-8 unless you mount it sideways, which is not the way it was designed to be installed. This was on an ASUS Maximus VIII Extreme/Assembly board, which is about as large and well laid out as it gets.
Apart from that issue, the modules work well and look good in place.

If you want to add a 2nd HDD, you have to get a kit like this; there's no other way to make it work.
2 of 2 found this helpful It is one of those odd little accessories which you MUST have if you want to add a second HDD to these laptops. The rubbery plastic surround could easily be substituted for some other mounting method, but this one is specifically designed to fit into the HP disk bay.
The part you CANNOT do without is the proprietary ribbon cable from the controller socket to the disk interface. That alone was worth getting the kit for. The price was about as low as I have seen it, and a fraction of HP's listed MSRP.
