Extremely fast
Bought this to install in the 2012 non-Retina MacBook Pro which came with a mechanical hard drive installed. I'd already upgraded its RAM from 4GB to 16GB and upgrading to an SSD was the next and final upgrade on my list.
I chose to go with Samsung due to brand recognition and reliability. Since I intend to hold onto my Mac for a while, I chose to go with the 850 Pro as it features MLC NAND flash which is very speedy and reliable.
Once I got it, I followed an online guide on how to clone my HDD and install the SSD. The difference in perfomance is like night and day! My Mac is much more responsive - files open and close in an instant, copying stuff is way faster; basically feels like new. This will add a few more years to it.

Fantastic game
I love the open world gameplay and the story line. The different paths one can take to complete the game makes for excellent replay value.
