Poor quality sound
Big, poor quality sound- little bass. iHome speaker is much better.

Cheap sound
Well, this is okay- not sure why anyone would really want to put this in a guitar- pedals work far better and are far more versatile. I tried this to emulate the Andy Summers overdrive in the guitar thing- was not really that great

VERY GOOD BUY, SOUNDS GREAT- although mic part is useless
I've bought two of these- the first without the contact mic, the second with. The first one was VERY VERY NOISY- ton's of hum, bad ground. I fixed it only by using metal tape around EVERYTHING, i.e. it was defective on arrival. The second had no hum- and worked properly. That being said, the condenser mic is essentially useless because of the placement under the pre-amp box. It has little volume compared to the under saddle pickup, and the sound it does have is without any bass, and picks up all the noise of the strings and fingers. So, the mic portion is pretty much useless. It'll add some presence, but too much noise, and too little volume to be of real use. In general piezo pickups have way too much presence and treble to begin with. I dial back the treble and midrange tone all the way anyway- no need for extra high end.
