Philips has the edge!!
After my first battery Philips shaver met with an accident I am very pleased with my new 5000.. Over the years I have had other brands even a philips copy, but they all had obvious problems from the first shave. This one was faultless from the start - quieter, good charging time and operating time, and shave quality. After almost driven back to razor and shaving cream I am very happy to use and recommend my Philips 5000.Philips

I now have two of these chargers and when the need arises again I will have no hesitation to purchase another.
I have used a lot of battery chargers, regulated and unregulated power supplies and some so-clled "smart" chargers, and after using this Schumacher SPI10 smart charger on12 volt batteries of differing capacities I can truthfully say that it performs consistently trouble free. It would be the easiest to use also with only one adjustment for language and mine came with an english setting.

Smoother, quieter and well designed shape to give a comfortable grip.
