Best budget option. Not OEM. But works well enough.
1 of 1 found this helpful Works better than my old one.
It's clunky compared to OEM, but not bad at all. The clips don't lock in the socket like the OEM does. But it doesn't matter, it's held in by the ignition shroud. Could add a dab of hot glue if you were concerned, but really, no reason to.
For under 20$ and 10 minutes of work, it's hard to beat the price.

It works great. Glad I finally bought it.
1 of 1 found this helpful I've bought several of the blue elm327 Chinese adapters that didn't work or died quickly. You know the two basic models and their similar clones that I'm talking about. This looked like it was higher quality than a lot of other adapters you scroll by on here. I'm glad I gave it a chance. It works just fine with torque pro (that I bought, I always toss the bootleg disc they all give you. Support good app's y'all) on my old Ford truck and van. Haven't tried other vehicles. But I've already gotten way father than I did with the junk adapters I'd purchased before this. It reads and clears codes. Provides mostly accurate real time data. I'm very happy with it for the price. Would probably buy another if I needed it. But we'll see how this one holds up after a few months first.

Works, just very slow and inconsistent.
Can't get it to go over 500kbps, that's with the disc provided drivers, automatically found by Windows, and manually downloaded and installed. 1080p video has to buffer more than I'd like. Gaming is very frustrating with a huge ping. Mileage may vary, but it doesn't seem to work well for me.
