Great 70's film!
1 of 1 found this helpful Excellent portrayal of how the rich lived in ancient rome. I love this movie, I saw the r rated version many years ago, and I was shocked by the unrated version and extra footage. Although the new footage is shocking it makes the film flow much better with the original footage. It is excellent and a true 70's gem. I don't know how this film avoided the DPP's Video Nasty list of banned films in 1983, but I'm sure if it were released this way it would be banned! Take this one with an open mind anf enjoy this outrageous, nostalgic piece of celluloid history!

Underrated
1 of 1 found this helpful This joke-a-minute comedy is criminally underrated. Even super fans of Lloyd Kaufman and Troma often overlook this masterpiece in favor of their more recent works, which share similar comedic energy but are an entirely different animal visually. Very cozy comedy with tons of good natured gags and a wicked rock and roll soundtrack. A warm and fuzzy early 80’s comedy classic that pairs perfectly with a rainy Saturday afternoon.
