Shakespeare retold

Only watched Taming of the Shrew so far but it was BRILLIANT!(Studying the play for an OU course.) Rufus Sewell and Shirley Henderson's intepretations of Petruchio and Katherina are some of the best I have seen. The modern day setting works well and this version certainly helped with my understanding of the more subtle nuances of the play. If the rest are as good, I'm in for a treat!

Romeo & Juliet - Leonardo DiCaprio

This is an excellent modern dress interpretation with original words. The acting is superb, very dramatic. Modern setting enhances the tension and atmosphere. A thoroughly great production!
