A Nameless Detective Mystery: Undercurrent by Bill Pronzini (1984, Paperback)
    07 March 2019
    Undercurrent
This is an early "Nameless Detective" series book from Bill Pronzini. This is an excellent series; I'm almost finished reading all of them. The title of the series is kind of silly, but the books are solid. Undercurrent takes place in a town several hours from San Francisco, where most of these books happen. The detective teams up with a local chief-of-police, also different from his usual "lone wolf" work in San Francisco. The tension steadily ratchets up as people are murdered, clues are hard to find; leading to an exciting climate. Excellent book!

    Remaster is right
If you like Rory Gallagher you'll like most of this CD. It wouldn't rate as one of his vey best, but there are several outstanding cuts and only one or two that are less than very good. Rory has a slashing and unique blues guitar style, and his singing is more than adequate(though not up to his guitar work). What suprised about this CD was how very different it sounded from the original release which I also have. The guitars and drums are very much "in your face" on this remaster. It really sounds like a different album! I've bought plenty of remastered editions, and I usually trade my old copy. But this time I'm keeping both-they're like two different albums.
Jethro Tull - Too Old to Rock: Too Young Die [New CD] Bonus Tracks, Rmst

Not the best but better than i remembered.
This release is no where near the best Jethro Tull album, but it's better than I remembered. The title track is one of the weakest songs, bust over all a solid album 3-4 out of 5.
