1 of 1 found this helpful This is the first time I've had a Cordless Planer, I chose DeWalt because of Battery compatibly and Good Quality and Reliability, I've always had Makita Electric Planers before this and found they were Excellent has well, has I said before I chose DeWalt because of Battery compatibly and Reputation and I chose a bare tool because of price, at first the Planer felt front heavy until a battery pack is installed then the balance is Perfect and I Love the trigger safety interlock switch.
