Unexpected benefit
6 of 6 found this helpful The charging is intelligent and optimises the process.
The HUGE benefit is that you can check the quality of your charging cables.
Use a device which can draw a large current (up to 2A), say a smart phone
Connect with what you believe is your highest quality cable - it should draw at least 1A.
Check another cable - if it can't draw 1A - it is "second" class, less than .5A - bin it
Weed out the poor quality cables and use those with demonstrated good performance.
Watch your charger really perform!

Slipped my existing Telstra prepaid data SIM in and off it went in 4G.
Zero setup
Haven't been able to properly test the extended frequencies - the acid test will be overseas compatibility.
