It's for tube Amps.I got the Fender clean sound ,and niw I get the Marshall dirty sound for my lead guitar ,and heavy stuff.Truly blues rock sound .
Use it with tube amps .I am plugging into a champ,and now I get a nice Marshall overdrive sound ,with Fender cleans I use it with a homemade 2 6v6 amp and wow .This is blues rock .You need a little more gain to play metal nn Eddie VanHalen solos.but this thing has a place for sure.
