Channel Master CM7400 HDTV DVR - Upgraded 2TB Hard Drive & Cooling Fans!!

Great dual tuner unit with 2TB. Good value for the price.

Pro--it works. Con--didn't read what was stated above (RF-coaxial cable out to channel 3 on older TVs output) & was trying to use as a pass-through to my other DVRs & TV. No Signal. Finally read book slowly. Fixed by using separate Antenna feed into this unit. Other (diff brand) units have own Antenna feed. I have the CM DVR on top of TV case & have a 6" clip-on fan directed directly at the unit. Before I did this, the twin fans were cycling on & off (noticeable). Afterwards--twin fans haven't come on in the 2 days I've had it. Success!! Also, unit uses 2G for Wi-Fi (no 5G). Not sure if Channel Master still offers the premium Guide or not. Basic is limited to 2 days. Vudu works well. Very pleased with purchase.

Works well on Laptop--"no so much" on Android phone

The product works well with a Laptop. The interface for an Android phone is terrible. I have mine hooked up to a DVR. The image of the "DVR remote" comes up on the Laptop and works. The "image of the DVR remote" on the Android phone is completely different. Will not allow me to go from the DVR to Live TV and back. The buttons are not on the "image of the DVR remote". Others have indicated that this is Slingbox's fault. Very pleased with my purchase and the seller.
