Wait until AI gets ahold of these older recordings.

The improvement from the original is noticeable but not that great. I have had this issue with many older CD's I have repurchased that have been updated. The 1 exception was the Beatles re-release of the RED and BLUE CD's. These came out near excellent. All in all, wait until they program AI (Artificial Intelligence) to reproduce these older discs in years. I'll bet they will be undiscernible from an original digital recording when done correctly.
