These photo-etch skirts are better than those in the Dragon kit. First, they are more durable when handling them than the kit skirts. If you fumble around with the kit skirts enough, they will damage easily. Also, the kit skirts were bowed making it difficult to re-bend them to where they were straight. Most importantly, the connecting brackets were slim or open enough to allow a fit on to the mounting brackets; whereas, the kit brackets were difficult if not impossible to fit.
