Fit To Be Sai-ed!
They asked the Okinawan Karate Master if he knew how to use many weapons but he only Sai-ed! That may have been enough however. The Sai is the weapon that most reinforces Karate's unarmed techniques (only the Tonfa is in the same ballpark) as well as relates to knife usage. This book gives the clearest instruction in the use of the Sai of any of the books on the subject I've read. I would have given this the full 5 stars except for its relatively small page (108) count. But they are big pages with lots of photos!

Thrown For A Loss!
Shuai Chao (Chinese Wrestling) has an amazing record of effectiveness but there is so much of it to learn! To have a book that concentrates on the best parts and even shows how to practice them with a grappling dummy when you don't have a partner is terrific stuff!

A Monsterously Good Read!
The old Universal Monster movies in general and the Frankenstein series in particular are justifiably the most famous of their kind. This book tells the whole story from beginning to end of the movies that would introduce the concept of a "Shared Universe" to Hollywood. These films brought notoriety to Boris Karloff, gave Basil Rathbone one of his three most important non Sherlock Holmes roles and Bela Lugosi one of his all time best on the two occasions he played Igor!
