Excellent and affordable, beautiful and durable. Perfect marklin for kids.
Tin Plate Marklin cars coupled to an old, heavy, all-metal 3 or 4 axle switcher, some old ‘m’ track and a 6646 32VA Marklin transformer is THE PERFECT basic but bullet proof and kid-durable starter on a budget.

Excellent S Scale train to customize and learn on a budget
American flyer vintage trains are some of the finest around. S scale American Flyer is the vintage layout train that has all the heft, relative largeness and realism of lionel O but in a more manageable size for small homes and apartments. The trains are kid friendly and durable. Much of it is in need of refurbishing and is a great candidate for art projects or custom painted train gifts.
