Replacement HP Notepad
1 of 1 found this helpful This used item was exactly what I needed. My original HP Pavilion had died (again) from a defective nVidia G-Force video chip on the motherboard and I was now out of warranty (the motherboard had been replaced by HP for this already a year and a half ago).
This one has the nVidia PureVideo HD chip in it instead so I am hoping it will not die like the G-Force (it's been a month now so I'm feeling better about it). I was able to put my hard drive in from my dead machine and with a few tweaks from HP's web site I updated the drivers needed for this specific HP notepad model and got everything working.
People who own HP Pavilions with nVidia G-Force video chips- beware and be prepared to go through what I had to. I am not alone in my frustrations with notepads using the nVidia G-Force video device.

Siemens S71212C processor much needed at my office for testing theories before jobs programming
It is exactly what I needed. It cost 2/3s of what the local distributor was asking.
