  The watch is lovely and my daughter really likes it. The only problem: it doesn't work. As you know, it's a old fashioned wind up watch. After winding it up, it ran briefly, but then the second hand stopped. I took the watch to my Jeweler and he said it needed a new second spring which would run about $40-$50. So what should I do? Do I return for a full refund. Or is the seller willing to pay half of the repair cost ($20)? I,m open to a solution. Please advise. Thank You, AJZ.

  I specifically stated in the listing “Never worn - Wind up watch - second hand runs then stops. When shakes side to side works again.” Buyer elected to purchase this watch anyway. I priced it at a reduced discount based on that condition I stated in listing.
