Do NOT Buy, cheap Rubbish
The product is very cheaply made, and I purchased it because it had a light. Most electrical appliances that have a light, normally turn on when the power is on, this light stays on all the time regardless of the switch being on or off.
I would not purchase this item again. I'm always worried that it may catch fire, as it's that cheaply made. It really belongs in the trash can.
