Fantastic for manual focus portraits, not so good for fast moving Autofocus subjects
I was expecting a less sharper lens since it was made by a third party company, but to my surprise the images are so sharp and the bokeh is just so good.
I would not recommend this lens for those who are looking to photograph their moving children, animals or fast moving events/weddings. The autofocus is slow and sometimes inaccurate and makes a lot of noise.
If you are a manual focus person, this lens is perfect, the image quality and the bokeh is just so good especially for portraits and people.
I don't regret it and it is my go-to lens for most occasions.

Powerful machine in a small body.
1 of 1 found this helpful It is a workhorse in a small body. I got the eos m3 over the a6000 because it was much cheaper, I thought I would be disappointed but it actually is really good with photos and videos are great coupled with Technicolor Cinestyle to get more range. Needless to say, the camera has a microphone jack input that lets you use an extenal mix for vlogging and video production.
I paired mine with a yongnuo 50mm 1.8 and it performs great. Autofocus can be a bit of a bottleneck if you're into sports photography, but I use mine for artistic portraits so it;s all good.
